Israel’s air force shot down a ballistic missile fired from Yemen on Sunday, the army said. The missile, which caused sirens to go off across central Israel, was intercepted before entering Israeli air space. There was no immediate comment from Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis, who have launched several attacks on Israel since the Gaza war began last October.
