Israel has seized 4,000 hectares of Palestinian land and established 20 illegal outposts in the occupied West Bank so far this year, according to the head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission. Some 2,400 dunams were declared “state lands” by the Israeli government, marking the biggest such land seizure in 30 years, commission chief Mu’ayyad Shaaban said in a press conference. He said Israel has “systematically targeted nature reserves,” seizing more than 150 hectares of land.
