At least five settlements suffered power loss in Ukraine’s Zaporizhia region following the latest shelling by Russia, according to Ukraine’s energy ministry. Earlier in the day, Ukrainian military officials also reported that Russian forces tried unsuccessfully to regain lost positions near Mala Tokmachka and Verbove, also in Zaporizhia, in the last 24 hours. There were no immediate reports about casualties in the latest Russian assault.
