Israeli police on Thursday said the body of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar had been taken for “further examination” in Tel Aviv, following Israel’s announcement of his death in Gaza. “The body of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar arrived a short while ago at the National Centre for Forensic Medicine,” the police said in a statement.
