One person has been killed by a drone strike in the occupied West Bank after the Israeli army said it set out to assassinate the commander of a terrorist cell responsible for attacks against Israelis. Abdullah Abu Shalal was “eliminated” in a joint operation between the army and Israeli intelligence, the military said on Wednesday. It gave no further details on the number of casualties in the attack, which hit a car near Balata refugee camp.
