The Israeli military has said it struck in the area of the Syrian presidential palace in Damascus on Wednesday as clashes in the southern Syrian city of Sweida continued to flare. Earlier in the day, Israel launched rare air strikes in the heart of Damascus, hitting the Syrian Defence Ministry headquarters.
