Three rockets fired from Lebanon towards Israel were intercepted on Saturday, the Israeli military said. Sirens sounded at 7.32am and two minutes later in the northern town of Metula in the first such attack since December. Hezbollah and Israel reached a ceasefire in November, but Israel continued to carry out strikes in Lebanon. The attack from Lebanon also comes days after Israel resumed its war on Gaza, which prompted more than a year of cross border fire by Hezbollah in solidarity.
