The Israeli military said it killed several Hamas militants and struck targets in the Gaza Strip over the past day. In southern Gaza, troops killed two militants after one of them opened fire at an Israeli drone. An explosive device was also destroyed, the military said in a statement. Troops killed 12 militants in Khan Younis, it added. In central Gaza, a “terrorist cell” was struck by fighter jets, it added.
