Israel has released Awni Khattab, director of the Khan Younis Ambulance Centre, the Palestine Red Crescent Society has said. He had been detained for 51 days by Israeli forces. Mr. Khattab was arrested as a convoy travelled from Al Shifa Hospital through the checkpoint separating northern and southern Gaza.
