The Israeli army issued eviction orders for Beirut’s suburb of Haret Hreik and 15 villages in the south of Lebanon on Sunday morning. Residents were told to leave immediately ahead of expected Israeli air strikes on a string of villages, including Kfar Hamam, Kfar Shuba and Qasabiya. A similar order was later issued for Haret Hreik, where the army said it would “forcefully” strike.
