Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office on Thursday acknowledged that “a stray ammunition” had hit a church in Gaza, killing three people and injuring several others. In a post on X, the Prime Minister’s office said that Israel “deeply regrets” the incident. “Every innocent life lost is a tragedy. We share the grief of the families and the faithful,” the post read.
