At least 38 people were injured when a fire erupted at a police complex in the Egyptian Suez Canal city of Ismailia early on Monday. No fatalities were reported but the building was fully staffed with policemen when the fire broke out before dawn. The fire raged through the multi-story building that was completely obscured by a massive cloud of smoke before firefighters contained the blaze, police officials said.
