Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of a robust competition framework to boost economic growth and attract investments. In a meeting with CCP Chairman Dr. Kabir Sidhu, he praised progress on long-pending cases and urged action against cartels and price manipulation. Dar reaffirmed government support for CCP’s initiatives, including a Market Intelligence Unit to curb anti-competitive practices.
