Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid said his country is dedicated to eradicating terrorism within its borders, calling on the international community to help in the reconstruction of “liberated areas”. “Iraq has triumphed over the threat of terrorism, and today, we look forward to wiping out the last vestige” of terrorism, Mr Rashid said. He said there is need to hold accountable those who fund terrorism “through funds, weapons, safe havens or media outlets”.
