Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has questioned his Jordanian counterpart, accusing the country of not respecting Iranian or Arab sovereignty. In a post on X, Araghchi sarcastically asked Ayman Safadi how long Tehran has to wait before responding to US attacks facilitated or launched from American bases in Middle Eastern countries, including Jordan. He was responding to a comment by Safadi, who said that Iran’s swift attacks on Arab countries following US strikes were too quick to be classed as retaliatory and were part of a premeditated policy.
