Iran denied Israeli claims it was involved in the Houthi seizure of a ship in the Red Sea. “These accusations are invalid. Resistance groups in the region are representatives of their countries and nations and make decisions based on their interests,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said. The accusation was a result of Israel’s “gross and irreparable defeat”, he added.
