An independent review group given the task of evaluating the neutrality and responses of the UN Palestinian refugee agency to serious allegations will present its interim findings to the UN Secretary General later today. According to a UN statement, the group found that UNRWA has in place a significant number of means and procedures to ensure compliance with the humanitarian principle of neutrality. The group has also identified critical areas that still need to be addressed.
