A man was detained on Wednesday for allegedly rapping a Pakistani-American doctor. According to the Frere police, Yasir Shah was a member of a politically powerful Balochistan family.
The complainant, a Pakistani-American doctor, told police that on November 15, Shah drove her to his car parked inside his Karachi home and raped her.
She claims the guy also assaulted her when she stood up to him.
Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre conducted the victim’s medical checkup. Doctors confirmed the woman had been raped, according to Frere SHO Waqar Tanoli.
