India questions the loyalty of its Sikh soldiers after reaching a ceasfore with Pakistan. After defeat in the war, the Modi government has raised questions about the loyalty of the Sikh chief of the Indian Air Force due to which more than 3,300 Sikh soldiers may face court-martial. In a high-level secret meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and the military leadership, Air Force Chief Amarpreet Singh was accused of undermining the performance of the Indian Air Force during the recent operations against Pakistan.
