The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday reserved its decision on the admissibility of a petition filed by ruling PTI politician Faisal Vawda challenging the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) lifelong disqualification in a case involving his dual nationality.

Today, the petition was heard by IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah. Waseem Sajjad, Vawda’s lawyer, claimed in his arguments, “The ECP is not a court of law.”
