It emerged on Monday that ICC named Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 team of the tournament; Babar Azam was the only Pakistani player selected and M Rizwan was completely snubbed despite wrapping up as the third-highest runs maker, scoring at an average of 70.25 runs per innings. In addition to the team, another Pakistan cricketer Shaheen Afridi made eleven as a 12th man.
