It emerged on Friday that the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) had issued a serious warning to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan against their pilot licensing problem. The organization claimed that Pakistan had failed to meet international standards as required by ICAO. Reliable sources within the Aviation Division disclosed that the ban imposed by ICAO might not be lifted soon again over safety concerns and the licensing process within the CAA.
