On Feb 7, South Korea’s Hyundai Motor faced calls for a boycott of its cars from Indians outraged over a tweet from the account of its Pakistan partner. In his tweet, he expressed solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Hundreds of social media users in India backed calls for a boycott and said that Hyundai must apologize for being callous to India’s claim on the decades-old subject.
