Yemen’s Houthis said that the group’s air defences were confronting Israeli attacks on Yemen, shortly after the Israeli military warned that it would strike the port of Hodeidah. “Our air defences are currently confronting Israeli aircraft that are launching an aggression against our country,” the group’s military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a statement. The Houthi-run Al Masirah TV reported that “12 Israeli air strikes targeted Hodeidah port”.
