Families of Israeli hostages held in Gaza briefly breached the border with the Palestinian enclave on Thursday before turning back into Israel. Dozens of families held a rally at Kibbutz Nirim, addressing their relatives through loudspeakers as they continue pleas for a ceasefire deal which would release the hostages. “In their immense grief, the families broke through the fence, running towards the Gaza border in a desperate attempt to get as close as possible to their relatives,” the Hostages and Families Forum said.
