US President Donald Trump has said Iran is facing difficulties in determining its leadership, stressing that Washington holds “total control” over the Strait of Hormuz. He also noted that no vessel can pass through the key shipping route without approval from the US Navy, effectively placing maritime traffic under American authority. “No ship can enter or leave without the approval of the United States Navy,” Trump said. Trump also underlined the Strait of Hormuz as “sealed tight,” warning that it would remain under restriction until Iran agrees to a deal.
