Ismail Haniyeh would be laid to rest in the Qatari city of Lusail after ceremonies in Tehran and Doha, Hamas confirmed. A public funeral will be held on Thursday in the Iranian capital, where three days of mourning have been declared and a mourning rally will be held at Palestine Square on Wednesday evening. The procession will begin at Tehran University and end at Azadi Square, according to Iranian outlets.
