Hamas released a statement condemning the arrest of the director of Al Shifa Hospital, who was detained by Israeli forces along with several senior doctors. “We strongly condemn the arrest of the director of Al Shifa Hospital and his fellow doctors, and we call on the Red Cross and international organizations to work for their immediate release,” the group said on Thursday. “We call on international bodies, including the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Health Organization……..release and all the medical personnel who were arrested simply for remaining,” it added.
