Israeli-American hostage Keith Siegel has been released from Hamas captivity near Gaza port. He is the last of three hostages to be released on Saturday, in exchange for 183 Palestinian detainees as part of a ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel. Amid tight Hamas security, Mr Siegel was taken to Gaza port by Al Qassam Brigades’ elusive Shadow Unit and given two “gift bags” with the group’s logo on them – one for him and the other for his wife Aviva who was released in a November 2023 hostage-prisoner exchange deal.
