A Hamas delegation headed by chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya has arrived in the Egyptian capital to discuss the implementation of the agreement, according to a statement by the group. It said meetings between its delegation and Egyptian mediators have already begun. On Monday, Hamas said it had suspended the release of captives held in Gaza due to Israeli violations of the ceasefire, which came into effect on January 19.
