The Palestinian group has said Israeli far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s decision to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque compound where he performed prayers was “a deliberately provocative move” that “reflects the fascist thinking of the Israeli government”. Ben-Gvir entered the holy site, known to Jews as the Temple Mount, earlier on Wednesday, where he was filmed saying: “We are the owners of the Temple Mount.”
