Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s threat to long-imprisoned Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti in a prison cell was “a cowardly display”, Hamas said. The visit unveils Israel’s “fascism and hostility to all human values”, said the group in a statement, adding the move will strengthen Barghouti’s case.
