Geneva: On March 1, the U.N. refugee agency laid bare that more than 660,000 people, mostly women, and children, fled Ukraine to neighboring states in the last six days since Russia invaded. Shabia Mantoo, the spokesperson of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), briefed in Geneva that there were reports of people waiting for up to 60 hours to enter Poland. Similarly, the queues at the Romanian border were up to 20 km long, she added.
