On Tuesday, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry stated that govt would not hesitate to approve a new ordinance for the NAB Chairman appointment sans opposition. “The new ordinance will strengthen accountability court and consolidate the system,” he explained. The govt is trying to omit Section 6 of NAO which suggests the appointment of chairman by the approval of the President, the House, and opposition leader.
