Ahsan Iqbal, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Reforms, stated on Wednesday that the government was taking stringent measures to keep the country from going bankrupt and has taken concrete steps to stabilise the economy.

If Imran Khan had lasted for a longer period of time, according to Ahsan Iqbal, the country would have faced disaster.

He stated that the previous government had signed deals with the IMF, and that the current government is no longer in a position to bargain, and that we must engage the IMF for the country’s benefit.
