According to a report in The News, the government has decided to reverse its decision to put a temporary ban on completely built-up unit (CBU) automobiles and instead apply a regulatory fee of up to 50% on the import of electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and regular gasoline vehicles.

According to the article, this measure will be in force for a limited time in order to reduce the rising import bill.
