To preserve the safety and security of the people, the federal government has decided to prevent the PTI from organising a long march in Islamabad.

The decision was made during a meeting of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s political committee, during which the recent situation was discussed in light of the PTI’s protest call.

The meeting was called after a police crackdown on the PTI leadership in Lahore and Karachi, which resulted in the death of a police constable.
