Germany joined the US and Britain in urging Israel to be content with having largely fended off an Iranian drone and missile attack. How Israel and allies repelled the attack was “really impressive”, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said while visiting China. “It is a success that perhaps should not be squandered. That is why our advice is to contribute to de-escalation,” he added.
