Over social media posts about the death of General Bipin Rawat, his wife, and other officers in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu, at least eight people have been arrested, two have been charged, and one has been suspended from a government job across the country. Jammu & Kashmir, BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Karnataka, Congress-ruled Rajasthan, and DMK-ruled Tamil Nadu have all reported action over the posts.
