“Intense” war in Gaza may continue for another two months, Israeli media quoted local officials as saying. Current levels of fighting would continue for the next two months, Israel’s Kan public broadcaster reported, and would not be followed by a ceasefire but by “localized operations” in the enclave. It will also continue efforts to free the 127 hostages held throughout the enclave, the outlet said.
