Gaza’s death toll rose to 39,897 on Monday, the Health Ministry announced, with more than 92,150 others wounded. At least 142 people were killed in the previous 48 hours, some of whom are still being identified, the ministry said. About 150 people were injured, taking the total number of wounded across Gaza to 92,152 since the war began.
