Foreign ministers of the G7 on Tuesday called on Iran to re-engage in nuclear talks with the US. The foreign ministers of seven of the world’s most advanced economies, who met on the sidelines of UNGA in New York, said in a statement that talks should ultimately lead to a “robust, durable and comprehensive nuclear agreement that ensures Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon”. It also commended the decision to commence “snapback” sanctions on Iran.
