A French commander, Captain Jaquis Launay, has revealed a new dimension that caused the shooting down of Rafale fighter jets during an hour-long India-Pakistan air combat between the night of May 6 and 7, 2025 . Captain Launay claimed that Rafale fighter jets used by the Indian Air Force were shot down in May 2025, not due to the technological superiority of Chinese J-10 C fighters. The captain said, actually, it was a very complicated situation in which more than 140 fighter jets were involved. It was very easy to hit an aircraft because a large number of targets were available to both sides. He said Pakistan handled that complicated situation better than its adversary.
