Justice (retired) Saqib Nisar, Pakistan’s former chief justice, denied the authenticity of an audio tape claimed to him on Sunday.
Recently, an audio clip supposedly showing Nisar was leaked, in which the ex-CJP purportedly gave orders that Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz would have to be punished in order to make room for Imran Khan in politics.
“Even though there are no cases against Maryam Nawaz, she would still have to be punished,” he allegedly said in the audio clip.
