At least five Palestinians were killed and dozens more wounded in Israeli air strikes on Gaza city and Rafah overnight. The five were killed in a strike on a residential building in Gaza city’s Al Tuffah district, which caused “severe damage” to the building and created a “state of panic” in the area, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported. Widespread destruction was also reported in eastern Rafah after a series of Israeli air strikes, it said.
