Citizens are experiencing troubles as a result of the cyber attack on the FBR website, which has caused the website to stop working. Since the incident, the FBR website’s portals have been down, making it difficult for citizens to file tax returns online. The FBR recognised the cyber attack, estimating that it could take up to six hours to restore the website.

It should be recalled that in September, a cyber attack was also carried out against FBR websites. All government websites controlled by FBR were shut down as a result of a cyber attack. Fresh vegetable shipments were stopped at border stations. Additionally, consumers no longer have access to the active tax peer list.
