The death toll from Israeli strikes in Lebanon continues to rise, with eight people now confirmed killed in a strike on the village of Safarand, near Sidon. Twenty-one others were wounded in the strike, the state-run National News Agency said, with work continuing to search for people in the rubble. The death toll from a strike on Sidon also rose to six, with 37 wounded, while five people were injured in a separate attack on Al Bazouriyeh, near Tyre.
