Egypt on Thursday said it “appreciates” US President Donald Trump’s apparent change of heart in resettling Gaza’s 2.3 million Palestinians outside the coastal enclave before taking it over and turning it into a high-end resort. “This position reflects an understanding of the importance of not worsening the humanitarian conditions in the sector and the need to find just and sustainable resolution of the Palestinian issue,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
