Egypt has pledged to provide political and humanitarian support to Lebanon as it faces Israeli air strikes and a ground invasion that have killed more than 2,000 people and displaced more than a million. Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call with Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati during which they discussed the latest developments in Lebanon. Mr Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s support during the call.
