Swat, Mingora, and adjacent areas are shaken by an earthquake.

Swat, Mingora, and the neighbouring areas were all affected by the quake.

With a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale, the epicentre was detected in Mingora, the district headquarters of the historic city of Swat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the US Geological Survey, the epicentre was located 170 kilometres beneath the Hindu Kush region.
